Default Removing leather shift ****

I need some help with now to remove the leather shift **** for the 08 Outlander XLS. I want to install the chrome shift bezel found in the 09 models:
http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...catalogid=6626

but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to remove the leather shift ****. I've removed all the panels to gain access to removing the bezel, but I can't take the black bezel out because I can't get that leather **** off! I've looked around for hours and I just can't seem to do it. Someone pleeaasseee help as I'm getting so frustrated and already scratched some of the trim piece

Thanks!

Okay, nevermind! I figured it out. You just have to pull the **** up with a fair amount of force and it pops right out. Doh!
