Has anyone with a 07-09 XLS attempted to replace the factory HID bulbs with aftermarket ones. If so how are the factory bulbs removed? Thanks in advance Dan

 

I figured out how to get the factory bulbs out but I am still woundering if anyone has gotten any aftermarket bulbs and what brand they bought thanks

 

I'm using Philips 6000k Ultinons....

 

I got some cheap JPN ones in, used them for a few months and then went back to the stock. They are a little tough (especially with someone with big hands) but its do-able. Just undo the connector on the back of the bulb before you undo the clips.

 

Thanks for the feedback guys. Have any of you tried upgrading the fog lights to HID. What I am looking at doing is to get the headlights a little bluer. I'm thinking like 8000k and then I want to upgrade the fog lights to a aftermarket kit so it can be controlled sepretaly and then add HID to get all the lights to match. Anyone have an opinion on this?
