215 I guess, 215/70R16 is a stock size for lower trims.

I know a great place nearby, my decent 16s were $513 tax, installation and balancing in.

Costco has a set of Blizzaks on sale right now, will be about $850 with rims, tax and installation... I'll see what kind of coin I have left after xmas is all said and done :P

You had no ABS/TCS/ASC or speed-o issues with these tires? Kinda have 2 threads going on this... May as well use this one...

From the 18" to the 16" recommended sizes the difference is less than 1% so the speedo is still right on, a negligible difference. ABS/TCS/ASC functions as it should. The tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) does not however. Every time the car starts it tells me to "service TPMS system" since my winter rims don't have the pressure sensors inside them. You just hold down the info button to clear the warning message on the LCD display, but you'll still be left with the ! light on the instrument panel. You learn to look past it

I hear you can turn that off with the Lexia tool if it gets too annoying. As long as it doesn't affect any major systems that's fine.

If I can get a decent buck for my old tires I might grab a set sooner than later.

I know I've said this on a bunch of threads....

You could buy the alligator programmable TPMS from N.G.S. He will program them to match your exisiting tpms sensor codes so you do not have an issue with winter rim swaps. He did mine and they work great!!

I'll keep that in mind... how much are they?

Also how do I get the codes from my car, do I have to go to the stealership?

You can get then fron N.G.S from this forum or the evox forum. They were roughly 250 shipped. Work grewt pre programmed. Your local tire place can read then. If not the stealership can. They each have a different serial number

Having owned the 08 AWC and now the 2012 XLS S-AWC, the S-AWC is more road performance oriented. It's meant for tighter turns and so on. My 08 was better in winter by far.
And my 08 had Goodyear SilentArmour 235/70 R16 A/T tires on them while my 2018 uses Toyo Observe G-02 Plus 225/55 R18 which are dedicated winter tires!

I hardly slid sideways on my 08 in winter but have slid numerous times with the 2012 S-AWC.
