Default SAT ERROR

Anyone have a problem with the sat radio going bad? I was driving down the road listening to satellite and lost sound, the display just changed to SAT ERROR . The AM/FM and Cd work ok but nothing on Satellite. I called Sirius and tried to get them to reboot me but it didnt help and the 2x I called the people I got on the fun were pretty clueless as to what I was talking about. Any suggestions before I plan a trip to the dealer.

Mine quit working a couple months ago. I have an Antenna Error message whenI go to the Sattelite Mode. I have never taken it in though, as I never intended to pay for service once the free trial ran out, and I did not want them messing up three other things when they worked on it. I am debating about taking it in for the Throttle mapping Bulletin and having them look at the radio error while it is there.

This happen to me twice before. Disconnect and reconnect your battery and it should take care of it. Not sure why it happened though.

Just got my first "SAT ERROR" yesterday. After I disconnect the battery for a few minutes is there anything else I need to know that will be affected by the disconnect? I really do not want to have something else needing a reset by the dealership to happen because ofthe battery being disconnected.

Wouldn't pulling fuse number 7 do the same thing?

chenarm is correct. do not have to disconnect battery to clear the SAT ERROR on the radio. I just popped out the #7 fuse in the interior fuse box and stuck it back in. SIRIUS back on the air!thanks Marc
