I was just trying to see if anyone new a good way of removing scratches or a good product to do so..? I knew with getting a black car i would get scratches and there easily visible because of in the past owning black cars. I have tried meguairs scratch remover and it sucks it didnt do a thing. Any ideas guys? or gals?

How bad are they? Does anyone have a car you can "practice" buffing on? If not I wouldn't recommend trying it...especially on black.
You can also try the color matching wax...never used it. I had a black truck and hated every minute of it except for 5 minute after I polished it. You can also get your dealer to wet sand or buff the scratches out, last time I had my wife's truck done they were really reasonable, I think we only paid $20 to have a few spots taken care of.

Nope never tried buffing it , i think i would be to scared to mess something up. I never knew the dealer could fix the spots for that reasonable of a price....i only have two minor scratches that i want fixed. I would be as worried about them if the outlander wasnt so new ive only had it about a month and a half and i want it to still look perfect. ill have to check with the dealer and see what they can do. thanks for the info.

Since you've had it for such a short time they should be willing to work with you to keep you really happy, they want to service your car for everything else too...you know, the $40 oil changes, $400 brake jobs...lol

Haha yeah im used to that already since ive had mitsu's forever now...the evo was ridiculous with its service prices.....glad im back to some with normal pricing

True, nothing about the EVO is average, why would the service and repairs be.... they just keep pecking away at you until you say "Property of Japan" on the back of your head.
