90% stop and go here in Hawaii, but that will change when I move back to the lower 48 next year. I'll bump up my intervals to 5000.

Thanks for the data good to see.
I'm going to keep with the 3500 mile (6000km) interval until it is out of warranty.

Once the warranty is up I'll have a UOA done. Looks like Blackstone labs even has Canadian provinces listed. Excellent.

Saw this thread through another thread, thought I'd update it with the 2nd UOA I did on it:

Could probably extend it a bit more, but since the computer maintenance reminder doesn't do much over 7,500...I think i'll stay there.

Being this post is from almost 8 years ago, the BITOG links no longer work. What was the finding of the results? Was 10k within range of Castrol full syn?

"Try 10,500"
Very nice! Encouraging as I will want to go up to ~10,500. Using M110 filter I take it?

I may start UOAs where you left off at 8500 miles. Is it $35 per mileage post on the analysis (5k, 6k, 7k, 8k, etc)?

Filters is a mix of purolator, mahle, or Bosch.
35 is flat per analysis....so go as far as you want, send in analysis, adjust as necessary....once dialed in, maybe send in every other year.

I remember awhile back on a different forum people using extra long Mahle filters on their regular cars/vans/trucks that called for smaller filters but had the extra room (very much like the outlander).

I will need to find the proper extended Mahle filter to fit on the Outlander.
