Thanks Falco I tried it last night and it does work via AUX, thanks for the info.

I always used the radio method before, this is much easier.

 

Apologies for resurrecting an old thread but....

I have the UK Outlander Diamond with the Rosen RES. Pressing AUX on the MMCS gives audio (but not video on the front display) around the car.

I was stuck in a multistory car park the other night as everyone piled out after a hockey game (yes - we have those in the UK too!). To keep the kids quiet the DVD was playing in the back, with sound through the MMCS instead of using the Rosen headphones (more kids than headphones on this occasion). I was a bit fed up at hearing the DVD but not being able to watch while stationary waiting for the floors of cars below to exit!

My query is - why isn't the video fed through from the RES to AUX on MMCS together with the sound? Can it be connected (under the drivers seat maybe)?
