Default Side steps/running boards recommendation?

I am looking for side steps/running boards for my 2016 outlander (for my todders who are growing up fast).

I don't see anything OEM, i usually go for OEM + dealer installation... less hassle....

any recommendations? anything to watch out for? i hope the installation does not require any drilling or major modifications.

I see this thread has 110 views and no replies. I am a New Outi owner 2016 and want to add a bunch of things but there is nobody to search info from. I wish there were more people on the Outlander Forum to draw from. I started a thread on roof rack photos for the 2016 and asked for pictures and got none. I guess because Mitsu lost it's market share since I bought my Montero Sport things have down hill. Is there another Forum out there with more activity that I cannot find? I found this one to be the most popular for the Outlander. I am sad

You are correct there are not many good general Mitsu forums anymore. This one is good for the outlander with a lot of good searchable info. I do not know of any good Montero sport sites.
As far as the original post Romik is a good make with easy install.

I thought about it but I don't think it's worth it. They cost about $400. My 4 year old can get in and out just fine. I have a 1 year old and I'll just carry him for the next couple of years. The sideboards will make your pants dirty if you bypass it when you step out from the driver seat.
