Default Slow acceleration from rest

I have a 2.2 diesel SST auto, 2010. Love the car, except for one thing...when pulling out from a junction, for example, the car is sluggish until the turbo kicks in. A couple of times it's left me stumbling while the traffic is bearing down on me...
Is there a re-map that I can have done, or just live with it??

Default Turbo Lag Aside

Ok, this could be related - or not - but; the 2nd gen 2007 models shipped to North America had a transmission/throttle lag problem, very similar. You sort of had to preplan your turns by pushing down a couple of seconds before you needed the real power. It was a tricky sort of business, because it also leaves you jabbing on the brakes if the situation doesn't go as you planned. The cure was a software update and the procedure had an actual service bulletin. But that was so long ago that I can't quote the # or anything. I had them do all the updates on a dealer visit for alignment. Good Luck
