Swapping out RF FOR aftermarket deck

I have install many decks in many cars but none this new. I just bought an 08 outlander yesterday with the Fosgate system in it.

I know i need the mounting kit and wiring harness.

I am unsure about these newer cars. What do i need to keep the steering wheel controls working? And do i need anything else.... like a unit to tell the amp to turn on.
