Default timing belt broke

I have an 04 outlander with the mivec. I have replaced the timing belt at 70k miles and a whole kit at 140k. It know has 175k and the belt broke. I am putting on a rebuilt head as 2 of the intake valves bent. My question is how well do you think the lower half will hold up after redoing the top end. I run a parts store and have gotten mixed answers from local mechanics. Has anyone experienced this before? Thanks for the advice.

if the valves bent on pistons (one cyl?) then the pistons will need replacing.
It would be good to check the con rods for fractures too.
Else, if it turns over by hand smoothly, you can assume the bearings are ok.
Id be hitting up whoever supplied/ fitted the cambelt. 30k is less than half of what id expect of one.

also, if the valve guides and seats are still good, you can replace them, save the expense of new head.

Two intake valves bent. I believe numbers 3 and 4 cylinders. The pistons had barely a mark on them. I thought about just replacing the valves but by the time you figure it out its not to much more for the rebuilt head. It is also quicker to get the rebuilt one. I have filed a claim and awaiting their answer. Do you think the bottom end will hold up with the fresher top end?

Should just slip in place snugly. Nothing should have been machined at this location. Try polishing parts with scotch pad and using some light oil or grease to help slip in place.
