Smile Transmission - locked "P"

Hello,
This problem begun last weekend: my outlander (GT 2008/2008, 90K) locked the automatic transmission on the P position. I did some force to back to the D position and now I cannot use the P position. Do you have some idea what happening with my car?
I really appreciate your help.
Regards,
Marcelo

not sure. could be the park lock solinoid. usually you can hear it move when parked and you press on the brake. but the fact that you can not put it back in park sounds like transmission issues

can you shift to every other position other than P now that you've got it out and does it move normally and smoothly?

Hello,
Thanks for your comments. I think that this problem is not directly related to the transmission, but the parallel electrical problems. Perhaps a simple blown fuse may reflect transmission. I tried avoid, but I think that tomorrow I need to take my car at the dealer.
Rgds,
Marcelo

Today, after work I bought some fuses and I went to check one by one in my out. And believe me, a fuse number 2(15A)* was burned and I just changed it and my automatic transmission is working again. I spent just some cents to repair my transmission and now everything is back to normal.

*internal fuse 15A - brake lights

Tks,

Marcelo
