So I’ve been wanting to install DRL as it’s required by law where I am now, but when I test fuses, everyone of them is always hot. I test the lights and they work at every position but they never turn off. Ignition off, doesn’t matter.
I do have a aftermarket starter that Best Buy installed.
Anyone have any ideas? I’ve tried ACC, radio etc etc. All hot without the key in the ignition.
You must have wired something incorrectly. From your posts I found out you have a 2018 Outlander Sport/RVR.
I recommend you should visit the dedicated Outlander Sport Forum. This topic has been extensively covered there. Type in the thread titles you find in the attached image. There are countless ways to add DRL (from a simple hot wiring to ETACS programming).
Good luck!
