Try owning a modified DSM. I've blown off turbo pipes, turbo hoses, radiator hoses, wastegate bolts, etc. As the notification mentions, proper clamps and torque go a long ways.

????????????????? Where have they been 'till now ?????????????

Today I have recieved notification from VOSA re ::::
"'Service Campaign relating to the torque setting of the turbo hose clamps. They may have been incorrectly tightened resulting in turbo pipe coming off on high boost conditions, resulting in loss of power. Clamps require re-tightened to the correct torque'"

I presume this relates to the original problem I experienced back in August last year.!
I just hope that if there is ever a real safety problem that Mitsubishi react quicker than this!

It came by way of letter through the post ;; Ref: AV/R/2001/158 Might be that the letter came from Mitsubishi but letter carries VOSA logos etc. as well asColtCar Company.

i got my car a month ago. it was a left over and from its papers it seems that it was build at the end of 2007.
Do the dealers do this sort of recalls before they delever the car?
