Turn off EVIC tire pressure warning? (not disabling TPMS)
You know, I can understand where he is coming from. My tire pressure monitor started going off my second week of ownership and continues to go off randomly, sometimes staying on for 15 minutes and sometimes staying on for days. I have checked the tire pressure about 5 times now, and they are always over 32. This is deffinitly the sensor, and is quite an annoyance. I hope that when I take it to the dealer they can fix it! But yes, you never know when you may have run over something and actually have a flat tire, just because it is new doesn't mean it is immune to punctures, which is why I have checked mine about every week, because you never know.
No, just when the pressure is low. It would be awesome to have it show you what the pressure is in each tire like in some more expensive cars, but alas, it just warns you when you are low, which is better than nothing I guess...

Mitsubishi have made a cheaper version ofTMPS tyre pressure it uses the abs system to monitor the size of the tyre.
In the UK a car magazine checked and found all petrol stations air supply gauges where not accurate some by up to 40% out So I use my own. Also if you drop your own pressure gauge on the floor you may as will bin it and buy a new one

I know it's standard on US models (maybe a law, not sure), but I am unsure of the other country models. Puddy, do you have it? Rob
