Use caution when leaning and polishing the roof
Hi everyone,
I just wanted to offer some advice...
Some pressure dents were observedon side/corner areas of my Outlander roof.
When polishing the roof area, I had used a short step ladder to reach the center of the roof.
To brace myself, I had placed my palm on the side/corner of the roof when leaning over in several areas.
Later, I saw very slight pressure dents in those areas when looking at an angle.
These are very difficult to see without looking with the lightingat anangle.
I had had thought the sides of the roof were strong near the creasesin the metal.
Don't assume this because pressure on these areas did result in slight dents.
When I had used the roof racks to lean over the roof area, this wasn't a problem.
