Default What does the stereo jack plug do the bottom of the nav screen

Hi all

Just wanted to know what the stereo jack plug hole does, which is located underneath the sat nav screen and accessible when you press open? Thanks

Its for the official NAV upgrade. You plug in a dongle there that lets you update from a DVD only once.

OK Thanks, I wanted to plug in an ipod in aux mode. I understand that the aux should be at the rear of the middle console. There's nothing there (UK Spec), I pulled off the plastic cover and can see a wiring loom. Is this wiring I need to connect to a suitable aux socket (red, white, yellow socket). If so can anyone advise on what I need to buy thanks
