Hey search I searched around a bit on the forums could not find a definitive answer. I want to put stealies and snow tires on my 2017 Outlander can anyone tell me what type of warning will the car give me. I assume a light but I'm slightly lead to believe there might a continuing bell that goes off. Could anyone let me know.

I got tpms sensors put in my stealies for my 2011. You can get them for ~$20 each on Amazon. Costco had no problem putting them in but didn’t pair them. I have a Mitsu Reset and trigger tool so I paired them myself.

 

It might vary by model year, but with my 2007, there is one audible bell when you start the car, and a message in the display that you can turn off. The little yellow warning light in the cluster will stay on, but there will not be a continuing bell or chime. That would be obnoxious.

 

I’ve got a 2015 SE. Only get TPMS warning light when I start the car. No audible alert.
