Default Wheels trap snow then vibrate

Ok the next complaint I have about the 2012 Outlander I just bought. Any time you go through deep snow it gets in the rims.
Then when you park the snow gets warmed by the brake calipers. Then some of the snow that's on top falls out. So you head out and the whole vehicle is shaking like crazy.
The rim is very flat on the inside so the snow doesn't naturally fall out. Another lame design. Looks like I'm going to have to buy some Winter rims.

Really? I just loaded the forum tonight to look into this very problem. Mine's a 2007, though, with the 18-inch, wide-open rims. Mine was wobbling like mad today too, after a big snowstorm and driving through a lot of snow. I don't know what's up, but I know it's not engine or transmission related, based on some checks I did. How do you remedy this? The snow's not going to melt off anytime soon. It's too cold. And I never had this problem in previous winters?

This is a good question here... I will go to the Mitsubishi Montero USA facebook page and check it out.
I do believe that they make a brake dust shield that would limit the snow from getting trapped inside of the rims if you haven't' already tried that.

This was my problem. I cleared the icy snow off the inside of the rims and it fixed the problem. I'm not going to worry about it too much, since it's the first time it's happened in five years of driving it.

It has happened to us several times this winter.
We live in Maine and have a 1000' long driveway. Every time we drive through some deep snow it happens
Annoying

hey, funny, it happen to me few times this winter. 2012 outlander too. I got scared at first, stopped on the side of the road, but then saw some ice stuck to the rim. Just go faster, it will fall out
