'97 Montero Air Conditioning Question
Hello all:
I have a 1997 Mitsubishi Montero LS and for the first time in 190,000 miles the A/C needs some R-134A. The problem is that I cannot find a low pressure test port to which I can connect my manifold guage set for testing and charging. I have traced the low pressure line (suction if you will) and can find no low pressure fitting anywhere. There may be one on the compressor but, if so, it is in a location that doesn't allow one to see it. I found the high pressure fitting right up front on the receiver/dryer unit, plainly marked and of the correct size.
If anyone out there has run into this before please let me know. My local dealer is pretty much useless.
Thanks,
Randy A.
