Failed my safety inspection the other day for no brake lights, inspector replaced a blown fuse and when he applied the brake the fuse blew. I've been troubleshooting it by checking the bulbs, socket, wires connecting the socket. All other lights work even the headlights using the same bulbs second filament. It is a 2003 Montero Sport ES 3.0 L engine. I tested the brake switch and feel like it is working properly based on continuity and ohm test. anyone ever had this problem? Advise me if you have. thanks.
