car cranks but wont start
Ok guys need yalls help. I have a 97 eclipse gs hardly no mods since I just bought it. I left work got about 5 miles down the road and I lost power in my throttle. Meaning I was pressing the gas but my car kept slowing down. Pressed the clutch to down shift and the same thing finally it just died. Pulled over checked my battery terminals and belts etc. The next day I noticed my engine fuse which is a 30a was blown so replaced it, turned the key forward and it popped again. Checked wired harness seems fine except for one bare wire by my passenger head light that is a part of my ecu harness. Any info would be great before I go through alot more fuses thanks guys

A bare wire that is part of your ECU harness? Bare as in the conductor is showing, grounding out and blowing your fuse bare wire?
One way to find out what is blowing the fuse, is to find everything that is on that fuse circuit, disconnect them all, reconnect one at a time and each time turn the key. The one that blows the fuse is the culprit. I assume you have a FSM to determine what is on the circuit of the fuse that continually blows, otherwise this may be difficult.
Also, hardly no mods? Are any of them electrical in nature and are those are on this 30A circuit?
Been too busy and have not been on this forum for a while so maybe you have already resolved the issue?
