sorry if im posting in wrong section.
Have a new Outlander,had free oil change done and now its time for 2nd oil change,so looking to do myself.would that void the warranty if i do the maint myself?If not then any 5w20 oil regular(synthetic) be ok?
Was thinking Mobil 1 for oil(unless a cheaper oil is ok)
I see oil filter brands at Autozone STP,Bosch,Puralator,Fram,K&N

Not sure of the warranty fine line they go by but by me here in NJ they seem bit pricey.

 

I have a 2015 Outlander SE...2.4L 4 Cyl. It takes 0W-20 Synthetic Oil the OEM filter is
MZ690072...just grab a few from the Dealer..keep ALL your receipts for everything. I change mine every 7500 miles (12,000 KM) and never worry...Don't cheap out on oil...Mobil 1 Synthetic is good..I personally prefer Castrol Edge Extended Performance...but any FULL Synthetic
0W-20 will do...I use the Dealer filter under warranty just to keep things copacetic.
