Default FRAM Oil Filter 6607 & 9688 for 08 Outlander

I've used FRAM TG6607 for the past several years on my 08 outlander. Today when I checked the FRAM for 08 outlander, it showed XG9688. Does anyone knows which one is the correct one?
Thanks

No Fram is the best.

The Fram application guide shows the **9688 lines (XG, TG, PG) as the proper filter for a 2008 - both the 2.4 or 2.6L engines.

The TG6607 seems to be for the 2010 v6 engine:
V6-3.0L F/inj. (24V) SOHC 6B31 (X) [2010]

The differences are many including the gasket size, the height, and the Relief Valve settings.

I remember reading in the shop manual about the maximum burst pressure which is why a good oil filter is important. Fram doesn't seem to document the burst pressure of their filters. Cheaper filters have lower burst pressures.

I prefer a WIX or NAPA Gold filter (roughly the same thing - rebranded)
This is what the Amsoil application guide has to say about a 2008 v6.
