Hey, I have a 1995 mistu eclipse 2.0 16 valve DOHC. It drives perfect for about 20 rpm begins to sputter then the car dies. I've had a diagnostic run and all that comes up is that the EGR valve needs to be replaced. Everything else on the car looks fine. Has any one else had a problem like this? If so was it the EGR? I'm having trouble believing the EGR would make the car do that just randomly. I appreciate and informational help I can get

 

Exhaust Gas Recirculation easy fix.you can find online 4g63 pdfs that will show you the location of the relay and the valve itself. 10mm and a 12 socket to do the job.
