It just won't die!!!
Hello Mitsubishiers...
I live in Canada and have a 94 Dodge Colt, (Mirage) that just won't die. I bought it new in 94 and have over 330,000 KMs on it. It's leaking oil all over the place so I need to basically rebuild the engine. I like the look and feel of this car so what an excellent time to revive this good friend.
It is an ES model with the 1.5L engine. I would like to go all out in turning this car into a nasty little road racer that I can still drive every day. The transmission seems to be the weak link in the 5speed as I have replaced it twice due to worn main bairings.
Where should I start? The chassis and body are in great shape so just drive train/running gear needs upgrading.

Thank you. I really have grown attached to this car and would love to customize it for performance. Just for fun. I am actively shopping for a performance sports car but may just get in to this project instead.
