Default MMCS issue

Hi All

I have just picked up a 2008 Japanese spec Outlander with low Kms this is replacing my old 2006 car.

This one is fitted with an 03 model MMCS. It was working when we test drove the car yesterday. I cant turn it on now. Not sure if its me or the unit.

The front will open. It wont take a CD ( but sounds like it would eject ) and that's it.

I know I will need to convert to English, and I know how to go about this......But why wont it turn on now. I know it worked yesterday!

Smile resolved

Just thought I would update as I have resolved the issue.

I also noticed this afternoon that the electric mirrors would not operate. They folded OK but would not adjust. Checked the fuse, it was blown. Replaced the fuse ( only shown as mirrors on the fuse box ) and guess what the MMCS now works

geeveejay - THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR FOLLOWING UP WITH THE SOLUTION! I thought I blew my Navi system, but it was the mirror fuse. How crazy!
