Default new here need some suggestions

Hey whats up, my names Corey and im from PA. Anyway, i have a 1998 gs-t spyder 5 spd. That car is my baby, and ive been slowly moding it. Just one little problem! Its in getting a new paint job right now and Im not getting it back for another week and a half due to the immaculate paint job im getting. I realized that it would probably be easier to find another car as a daily driver so I can finish my spyder. I love my mitsubishi's and I love the 4g63 engine. Today I went around browsing for something that will fit what im looking for and I think I found it. Its a 1995 gs-t hardtop.its only got 89000 miles on it (which if u ask me is really good for that year. Its in pretty good condition, but the guy at the lot said that they believe the tranny is starting to go out. Its an automatic, which I personally HATE with a passion. The last owner only knew how to take care of the motor work and never checked his tranny fluid or anything like that and I guess noone ever told him anything about the tranny (hes an idiot if u ask me). I took it for a drive today and the tranny didnt seem TOOOO bad. Now for the questions. What models can I take a tranny out of? Would the tranny out of a gs or an rs work? Also, one of my buddies has a 95 talon esi that he uses for parts for his spyder. Would I be able to take the tranny out of that to put in mine? Also, what all would i have to do to convert it to a manual? Ive never done any conversions like that, so this would deffinately be a first!

No none of them trannies will work. You have to get one that is off a turbo. If it was n/t then any n/t tranny would fit hell one of a 1.8 sohc fits on 2.0 dohcn/t.
