First....Hi.
Second, I joined last week & posted in the "wanted"forum/section.
I need parts to finish my engine & figured this would be the best place to find someone who might have what I need.
Since joining, my post has been unaccessible to myself(and others I assume) because it
isn't hyperlinked and it says "awaiting approval".

How long does approval take? It's coming up on one full week. I've checked my email & my mitsubishi forum inbox,but there's nothing other than a "welcome" message for joining.
I also posted an "acknowledgement of rules"post on the "read this first" thread in the newbie section.

I also searched the FAQ's for a reason why my post is "locked" but found nothing. Finally,
I found a link to ask a question, so I didyesterday morning. Alas, no reply.

?????????? what gives ?????????????

Is there something more that I need to do, or should I just go away and look elsewhere?

If that happens Just PM me or any of the moderators here. We can check it out and as long as it follows the ruleswe can approve it. Right now alot of us with the new year are busy and I know I just forget to check in the for sale and wanted sections. I will take care of it right now though
