Outlander 2.2D 2015

Hi All,

I have a query about the 12V power outlet with the battery symbol between the seats beside the USB port, can this be used to charge a phone or has this an alternative purpose?

It's an accessory outlet, you can plug whatever 12v devices you want in there.

It's made for a charger for your phone/iPod/etc that may be plugged into the aux in there.

I was charging my phone HTC M8 and the charger and phone got fried, so i tried a new expensive charger and it also fried lucky the phone didnt take the hit this time.

The port is made for 12v accessories like a phone charger... If it's wrecking them there could be something wrong with it... Does your front one work OK?
