Default Sounds like chains dragging?

Sorry if this has already been a topic. I tried searching through a few pages but didn't see anything similar to what I'm experiencing. I'm new to this forum and I drive a 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander.

While driving, it sounds like a chain is dragging. I've noticed that it stops when I hit the breaks but as soon as I start accelerating again the sound comes back. Any idea on what might be causing this?

Smile Chain Drag

I know the sound your talking about. It could be the cover on the cat has come lose or the clip that holds your brake pads in place may be broken.. Try to drive with the brakes just light pressed and see if the sound is still there. I had to put a clamp around my cat and the sound went away. Hope this helps.
