as anyone heard of there tranny or transfer case hitting there exhaust. I haven't looked at , but i keep hearing a tinning noise that sounds like something is it tapeing on my exhaust / downpipe area. Is this something others have heard. It happens everytime i'm on and off the gas. Only accures when i hit the gas after just letting off. I don't know someone please help.

 

yes, some exhaust flex alot from the down pipe to the test pipe, especially when you deccelerate. When this happens, it taps the bell housing and creates that ticking noise. I've rode in two evo's that this happens to, because of the tranny/ transfercase design of the evo. If it really bothers you, take it to a muffler shop and ask to mandrel bend the pipe around the area wheres it's tapping.

thanks alot , i though it was like a bad axle or drive shaft , But the hollow tinging/clicking sound just didn't sound like a drive shaft , but more like something in the exhaust hitting.
