Been lurking the forum for quite a while , finally decided to sign up. Mostly because I have more time now for the forums that I belong to. My ole lady drives my 97 Montero Sport with 259 on the odometer. Got this from a customer who bought it brand new . My Auto Repair shop did all the scheduled repairs on the Sport since 1998 and then 3 years ago he gave it to me . This customer has given me several vehicles over the years. I was never a fan of the Mitsubishi product . But I will say this little suv has proven to me that I was wrong. Well enough said ......Hello to all.

Hi, big time newbie here. I have decided I want a Montero SR for my next camping / hunting rig. Just got me a Brittany bird dog, now I need some wheels. I've been searching for three and a half months with no luck. the three RS I went to go see were severely broken down. I know I'm not going to get a super clean Monty and I'm willing to spend money to fix it up. hoping to find one in decent shape before September bird hunts. I live in L.A. area.
