Default EVO6 turbo upgrade

Hi out there,

Can anyone suggest me a professional turbo upgrade kit to Lancer EVO 6 TME? The current stock turbo is charging 1,7bar with GEMS ECU and custom engine programe, but it can only do it from 3800 rpm, and I need something which go deeper in rpm. Is it possible to have full pressure right from 2,500 rpm??? Any suggestions?

hmmm maybe im wrong but you're probably not going to be able to fix that unles you bought a smaller turbo, and thats not what you want to do. usually the stock turbo is best for spool up and any larger turbo is only going to give you more top end but take longer to spool up. do you already have a boost controller? sometimes an aftermarket boost controller can help the turbo spool up faster even if you dont raise the boost.

boost controller??? you mean diverter valve? Or is is something electronic? What does the boost controller do, which cannot be done in the race ECU?

the boost controller can be either manual (cheap) or electronic (expensive) it allows you to adjust the boost (charge) your turbo produces, i dont know if can already do that or not with your race ecu

All I have is a switch which places the car into race mode, where the ECU uses a lot different ignition timings, injection loads (fuel MAP), and of course 1,7 bar max pressure at around 5,500 rpm. Then I guess I do not need this boost controller.
