A buddy of mine stripped a mits and handed me a td04 turbo that appears to be in great shape, despite how small it is. Would I have any kind of luck finding a header to put it in my 95 rs or would it require custom fab? I mainly only find t3/t4 turbo headers. And if I could find one, would I be safe bolting it on without a rebuild? Dont throw a shoe at me for it, Im just wondering if I can get away with only a couple psi boost so I can show off my own rs-t. But I really dont have the funds to do a rebuild, otherwise Id go for a 16g or somethin. Honestly if I cant use it without any real hassle Ill prolly put it on ebay/craigslist, I got it for free.

 

Not to be a dick but your probably better off selling the turbo. It'll be more of a hassle then its worth, expecially when your on a budget.

 

i wouldnt bother, because you cant just throw it on their without modifying the exhaust and fuel system as well as adding an intercooler just to name a few parts that would be required.

 

Well id be fine with doin bolt on mods, my friends got an apexi n1 turbo-back exhaust id just need to find a header. Fuel pump, rail and injectors. Not too bad. I can put stuff on the motor but I don't have the space money or resources to tear the motor down and beef up the internals. I've already got the ignition amped up a bit, I've got a new exhaust on the way, id probably do an obx pump rail and injectors but only if I didn't have to tear down.

Oh and dsm, its not a dick comment I was tryin to see if its doable or get rid of it. I posted it on craigslist for trade: a set of 97-99 5spoke rims or front and rear 2gb bumpers.

 

well like i said your also gonna need an intercooler and all the piping for that...and also an intake, and then youll need a custom downpipe

Well I do have it posted on craigslist, but im not actually interested in selling it. If I get money for it, the money will end up goin to what i need. Im already sinkin 100% of my money into what I need instead of what I want, otherwise I woulda have finished the 2gb conversion by now. Honestly if Im gettin rid of it, I wanna trade it for either the 2gb (97-99) eclipse oem bumpers or for the 5spoke gst rims. I know, I got the turbo for free I shouldnt be askin for so much for it, but lately it seems thats the only way Im gonna get any of the stuff Ive been wanting for my eclipse.
