help me please, newbee
ya, the motor mount on the drivers side would be different and prolly wouldnt fit.. Along with other accessories on the motor.. If its a 6 bolt there are certain parts that you need to fit it.
Have your mechanic check the flywheel and see if there are 6 bolts holding it or 7 bolts.. That will be a big thing!
After looking at those pictures better It really looks like a 6 bolt motor...

It has aleady been confirmed that this engine is in fact a 7-bolt. My guess is now that we he has is from a 93-94 eclipse turbo. And that he has a stock 14b. Now in saying that its a 14b that means that YES the j-pipe will work. Unless your missing an IC pipe it will work. Which there is no way your missing one. So this j pipe will. I really dont understand at all what this guys problem is. Here is another picture that shows you what your supposed to do with the stock intercooler pipe
Thanks so much John for all your help ... if he still cannot do I ill just have it towed to someone I trust. What a nightmare.
I know it will work, just have to find someone to do the work.
I hope someday somhow I can repay your for your kindness. Adios
