i just ordered a hks ssq blowoff valve and it didnt fit into my hose. someone told me that it didnt have the flange kit. is there any way i can install it without the flange or do i need it.

p.s.
i also have on a type rs bov but i dont like the sound of it and want to put on the ssq instead.

 

you are gonna need two things. One is the flange that will have to be used to bolt to the stock intercooler pipe. The other thing you need is the recirc. kit because you dont want to be venting it. you can vent it, but if your looking for more performance than the "sound" you would want to go with that

ssq is by far the best out there... and we can't stress enough that you can not vent!!!

 

explain why you stress so much why you wouldnt vent?

 

because your car will run like crap. It will try and stall out on you when you hit the clutch in and when your comming to a stop

 

hey i have turbo or wastegate problem. i took it to my mechanic and the scanner says "over boost" any ideas on how to fix this

 

i have bever heard of a code actually saying "overboost" Do you have a boost guage, or MBC. need more info please
