Default just installed 18g

So I finally stepped up to an 18g, after having my car in storage without a turbo for 2 years! and I've had a few difficulties with the install. First, I ordered a stainless oil line, and Im pretty sure I got a stainless braided coolant line. wtf? I got the J and 90 degree piping and when I go to install, they are about 3 inches apart. Had to get a new oil drain cause the stock one's bolt pattern is diff. I lost one of my O2 housing studs, and found out that the "WAD" whom the car belonged to previously had taken the exhaust mani off and replaced one of the bolts to the turbo with a regular instead of fine threaded bolt.
THEN, after installing the APEXI N1 turbo back, I couldn't get the 2nd O2 sensor out. what do I do? get a pipe wrench and find out that the threads are ****ED in half, and that the stock exhaust is welded in about 4 places. is that normal???

here is my question:

am I supposed to have that much gap between my pipes?

why does an O2 sensor cost $110?

and where in the hell does the harness on the first O2 sensor connect?? I can't find the male end for the life of me

guess this is what happens when you take **** apart and leave it sit for 2 years before deciding to rebuild.... [sm=badidea.gif][sm=headbang.gif]

sup brother. I don't know about the first question. You should just get a front mount and ditch the J pipe haha.. the answer to the second question is that dealers and autoparts stores think that its an amazing feeling to rape people on parts. the o2 sensor off of the dump tube, or down pipe depending on your setup, hooks up a little below your water filler neck. Kinda next to the shifter cables attached to the block. The o2 sensor after the cat connect underneath the driver seat. I hope that helps.. sorry i couldn't help with the other stuff

A front mount wont get rid of the J pipe?? will it. It doesnt change the fact that it faces the housing up instead of down. Maybe upgraded J pipe

So I just had my mech. work on my baby. made sure I did the install correctly, tightened everything down properly, yada yada....

drivin down the interstate at about 55, shift into 4th and my boost cuts. (running between 14 and 18, I was in the process of tuning down) Now I have no boost. vaccum at 18, when I try I can get the gauge up to about 2, still on vaccum, and then nothing.

what the hell did I do? I was NOT running it hard at all. I had driven around town for about 10 miles and decided to hit the interstate. All was working fine before the 4th gear shift. Car still runs, no weird knock or hum, or anything. I checked the hoses, all still connected properly.

help me!

probably have a boost leak. go back and check all hoses from the intake all the way to the intake manifold.
