ok,,,say u have a 98 eclipse gs with a hahn stage 2 turbo w fmic, hks blow off vavle, 2 stage fuel pump & comp. stock internals......... you have a $6,000 dollar budged to sup up the motor what would you do??????

 

Most people will answer get a GSX with that... if you plan sticking on this one though, beef up the internals, cilinders, rods, bearings, get a more resistent head gasket cuz the one you have will boom, and if its a 98 like mine, id take it to a full service specially on the suspension, you dont want having one thats almost 10 years there, with that youll be able to crank up the boost to around 15, i think (correct me people), the stock crank should be fine up to 300 hp (reachable on a 420a? lots of mods....) and if i was you id get a lightweight flywheel, there you go, 6000 spent, EASY... a third or more on just the internals.

 

You could get A few grand out of your car and add 6k to it and you could build an O MY JESUS GSX

 

ya.. sell your car and put even more into a GSX.. You will be a lot happier.

 

no chance my car is bad as ****..shaved handles & gas door painted black with blue pearl,, real carbon fiber wings west wing,, 19" spider knock off rims koni coil overs on all 4's...interior comp. fiberglessed smooth & painted black..sparko wheel & seats w 4 point harness. full stero system fiber glass with real!!!! carbon fiber accents.

Well, it sounds like you've put a lot of time and money into her already so my opinion would be for you to stay with what you have and build the internals and get a 4 layer cometic and balance too.

**edit...Lol, I'm basically agreeing with KN ...and the 420a is capable of 300chp so be careful.**

 

LOL, i know it can but... $$$$$$$$ hahaha, thats prolly the main issue with the 420a.... that and headgaskets
