do you know how much work it is to keep up a rotary???? it's like owning a DSM only instead of fixing broken **** all the time it's maintaining it all the time or the thingWILL break. i personally don't like any of the RX7's ecept for the last generation (sorry to say it - Dom's car from FNF) and i prolly still wouldn't own one just b/c they are such a bia to maintain.

The last gen was the best looking... Im not telling him to stay rotary, but if he insists on it, may as well be the best possible rotary.

I've actually got my heart on an RX8.
A friend of mine got one brand new when we graduated.
He went on to college in New York.
I saw him about 3 weeks ago and his car had 128,000 miles and he said he has'nt had a lick of trouble yet.

ya.. As far as looks, that FD is the best and I would think about getting one in that year.. But Ive heard there not worth the pain in fixing them.. But then again, ive heard a lot of people complain about fixing there dsm's...

Personall choice, but I would stick with the DSM world personally

they changed alot to make them a little more reliable but the maintain iti s still a PITA.... the RX8s you are supposed to rev the car to 3k as your shuting the motor off to help prolong the life.

Damn, no one likes it! LOL! Well, supposebly it was bored out, has all the simple stuff (like intake, exhaust, etc etc), gauges, and I know for a fact it has been "BABIED."

So i guess, no one wants me to swing this way... LOL!

He is asking $5500 and it comes with a turbo kit, the only thing missing is the manifold and wastegate, and then its ready to be turboed.

So, did any of this change anyone's mind?

No.... you can go get a GSX for the same and have more reliablity ya know. not to mention nicer FD would only cost you lie $12k which doesnt seem like to much more than $5500 for an Even older car
