YOu should buy our StealthTT with 6spd and 95 motor swap, needs a rebuuild $5000 as it sits
It has a bad engine, yet you still want 5K for it? It's a clean car, but that is a bit much, IMO.

I thought it was only 2 bolt blocks that spun bearings?

Yeah, he said it has an engine from a 95. All the second gen (94 up) TT's have a 4 bolt main, and I think some of the later 93's had them too.;

...because it is just as possible to spin a bearing in a 4 bolt than it is to spin one in a 2 bolt.

I think it is because the 4 bolt can withstand poor tuning better than the the 2 bolt (knock/detenation).
There are few 2-bolt cars that have loads of power and have held up to the rigors of going to the track.

trust me I know its a steep price... not my car... he was asking $11500 for it over the summer I told him it was a joke lol... the 2 bolt motor spun a bearing from the old owner and he kept driving the car and toasted the entire motor. we did do a 4 bolt swap with 6spd and an oil cooler blew up on us and the motor spuna bearing again , just not as bad as the first casue we are smart enough to stop and get it towed back to our shop

I am trying to convince him to keep it and build it up a little

I doubt he'll get as much as he wants for it, so he just as well drop some bucks into it and enjoy it.
