I agree. He is convinced that since it has the moto swap and tranny its worth more. along with new interior.

 

well good luck with it... You may have shot yourself in the foot. If you hink the DSM were unreliable you just went to a more unreliable platform I know it from seeing it all fiirst hand. But best of luck with it ya never know

 

Yeah, make sure you take care of all the preventive maintenance. Get a Mechanics Manual, follow the pm schedule to the T. Use quality fluids and change them on schedule. Maybe your car will we as unreliable as mine at 185K...oh wait...mine has been extremely reliable. :P

 

So far so good guys. Its a really clean car. I love it. I will keep up with the maintanence.

Even putting gas in the car, is another step i have to go through. LOL! I have to put in 2 cycle (TCW3) oil with it. But its not that bad so far. Nothing wrong so far. This guy babied his car. So i'll let you guys know how it turns out.

to tell you the truth, Idk! The owner told me too. He is a REALLY cool guy, and a cousin of one of my good buddy's. I am trying to learn about those rotaries now.. LOL!

 

ahhh, my bad, you bought the RX. Maybe the oil keeps the apex seals from going bad as quickly.

yup.... the Rotarys burn oil ALOT too. and most people say to do oil changes every 1500 -2k on them and never use synthetic

 

Just curious... but why not synthetic? And, what oil do you recommend? and filter? K&N filter?
