As an oldman peer, I have to say that nobody wants their family members to get tickets, especially their kids. So, I feel for you Oldschool.
On the otherside of those tracks, she was speeding. Whether it be 1-100mph, she was speeding. There's not a whole lot a parent can really do either, it's all up to our kids and as a former young adult myself, I learned quick. I understand not knowing how fast I was going at that particular moment for whatever reason. How do you teach a young adult to pay attention to the road when they have their whole day playing in their minds?
Going to court to fight it might be a good idea since the cop admitted to profiling the car even though there were others going faster. The Eclipse was obviously the lesser of the evils on that day.
Good luck with whatever direction you dive into this Oldschool.

Oh and i was on the way back from Baltimore last night and i was doing something like 73 in a 55 and a cop passed me like it was nobodys business without lights on. Since i did not learn my lesson from that i was doing about 83,again in a 55and a State cop passed me at LEAST 100 without lights again. Its was crazy.

Totally erelivent but the royal farms got robbed and there were at least 15 cop cars there but that was way after they passed me

There is a law that says... If over 80% of the people traveling on that road are breaking the speed limit then something needs to be done about it.

How can you say that is not a problem? He said that the cop said that he knew people where passing her and she was not standing out for being the fastest one on the road. Purely because she was young and in an attractive car. That is why i am so pissed.

Putting myself in her position, if i had been pulled over for doing 11+ over then i would be just fine with it... my own damn fault. But its the fact that the cop acknoledged that she was not the fastest... and he admited to targeting her.

I agree with sebba on this one, its just... stooopid, one of the reasons speed limits are enforced its for safety measures... if you ask me, prettier cars are more fragile, and slower cars are more safer... he should have stopped the other ones over her...

Aye...I have no problem with someone getting pulled over for going over the speedlimit. But I think it's just logic to stop the car going over the most...not the one that just looks fast. Now, if she had been all alone on the road and going over, well, no problem there, it's deserved. But I'd almost call what she was doing "going with the flow of traffic" if there were other speeders around her. At the least, if there were people going faster, logic would have it that they would have a higher priority.

I think that when it just comes right down to it, that cop was a !#$% moron...

Dude chill out. I dont care what you think it is sebba 11 MOH is more than enough to bewritten up. I agree with him writting her up and even more so when its a young driver. Young drivers tend to be immature behind th wheel in most cases and drive like tool bags (not saying she does, im sure she is a fine driver) and that is the entire reason why i drive no more than 5 over. and time from time I get on it but never cruise at higher speeds. The only thing the officer should not have done was saying anything about her being young regaurdless if it was any reason why he stopped her.
i'm in the same boat Mike, i never go more than 5 over. although i have been pulled over for going 2mph over by one DICK headed cop! that was the day i found out my tint on the eclipse was legal lol

Sebba is right, i got pulled over because of my eclipse,36 in a 20.... yeah i deserved it but there were people passing me! because my eclipse has a body kit, and aftermarket tailights i get pulled i went to court to get the ticket lowered.... not to mention two cops pulled me over like i was gonna run... i dunno where you live but in the state of NC if your ticket is 9 over or lower it doesn't go on your insureance (depends on how many tickets you have) so i went to the DA and got it lowered to 29 in a 20 paid the ticket and court costs and went on my way

an this right here is why I agree with her being stopped. cause now he is saying "no lesson lrned" cause he didnt get stopped and honestly driving like 80 anything in a 50 anything is just a dumb idea. beside that your car gets worse gas milage over I think it is 55. I think its 55 were the car runs the best
