Sorry hear about that. I'm glad your ok. You will have to fight the insurance company for sure, and then the guy to get more money. His insurance company will not pay for any of your medical bills until you are completley released from your doctor for more visits. Insurance company does that so you can accrue more bills after they paid original claim. You can however, fight his company and tell them it wasnt your fault the idiot wasnt paying attention, now your out of a car and shouldnt be held responsible for some new car payment. If indeed you are still paying on your car, Check with the loan company (or your insurance) to see if you had GAP. That should pay any loans off - although the guy that hit you should. I work for a finance company and i dealt with a similar case. The girl won, got her acct. paid off with us and still had extra money. There is a way to where you can keep your car. I will find out, in meantime, ask your insurance agent.

That's pretty messed up that the insurance company will only pay for the kbb value... I bought my car for $6,200... so if I got in your type of accident, they'll prolly give me $3,222... Wow. I'd straight sue the guy/girl that hit me, and then fight the **** outta the insurance. That's incredible how unjust they're being to you. Just try to suck out as much as you can from the guy that hit you.

notmally it just depends on the insurance company and the adjuster whether they give you money for hte parts or not... when my honda accord got in a wreck they paid for the rims that i had on it and the tinted windows and the stereo in it.... so i guess it just depends on the company. but like somebody said, if they only give you the bluebook value... take all ur s$%t out of it first.
