were doing something stupid... cause these kids were.

i actually was. It was completely my fault. about a year ago BEFORE all this tokyo drift bs, my dsm was out of commission for about 4 months(im sure you remember), so i drove the moms camaro for quite a while. I was actually getting halfway decent at doing drifts, but i had been practicing on dry ground, and it rained a little bit that day, so it just didnt end up doing the right thing.

Im actually really lucky that i got away with just the damage, instead of what im told, is a serious federal offense:

But i did learn a lot from that day and am somewhat glad it happened.

But the guy who lived there made the biggest ****ing deal over his tree. Ive never met such a *****. he went on and on and on about how the tree is 15 years old, and cant be replaced.

and im also pretty lucky because nobody called the cops. Something similar happened to my friend and the original ticket was something like 3700 dollars plus possible jail time.

you know what though, that tree from where it is located is not technically on his property. His actual property line will not start until after the sidewalk, so he cant say ****

Its sad that alot of kids are going to get hurt or killed trying to drift because of the movie.

I'm throwin the BS flag. I don't care WHAT anyone says. This BS about violence on TV and it affecting our youth is CRAP. I watched a cartoon mouse beat the HELL outta a damn cartoon cat my WHOLE childhood with various weapons of opportunity. You see ME walkin around beatin people with sledgehammers? The movies don't MAKE anyone do ANYTHING. These are kids showing off. When you were that age you did the same thing with friends in the car. Just like a buddy of mine jumped a steep grade railroad track at 70 MPH and almost bit it.

And on a side note THAT WISHING WELL HAD IT COMIN!!! Too bad the mailbox had to fall victim at the same time. The mailbox never did anything to anyone. But the damn wishing well... NEVER grants MY wishes!!! DEATH TO THE WELLS!

Well i have to disagree with you sang because i bet you after kids left the movie theater after watching tokyo drift, they wanted to find a place to try it out themselves. There is no doubt that it happens. I remember going to see F&F 2 and after the movie got out all you heard was cars leaving and revving it in the parking lot, and you know they went and tryed racing people. Obviously everyone reacts differently but you cant say that movies and tv arnt influential.

But there is a difference between a grown adult (Remember 18 IS an adult in the states ) and some impressionable kid watching a flick and trying to immitate. I'm sorry but these people that want NO violence on TV or in movies are freakin nuts. Yeah I know these people try to do that shyt after watching the movie. Matter of fact the night I went to watch it when I left the theatre as I passed the offramp for the interstate I saw a car that creamed an electrical box. Looked like he attempted a drift on the offramp (Would have been similar to the drift that they did up the ramp in the parking garage in the movie had he pulled it off). But it's a concious decision by him to try something he KNOWS isn't a good idea. That's all I'm saying is that people wanna ban shyt from TV and movies because people out there are dumb. How much do you actually see Looney Tunes on anymore? Too much violence. People can't take the roadrunner flattening the coyote 3-4 times a show without thinking the kids'll do the same. BAH
