Lookin for a Straight up easy answer
ok, sorry but im kinda a newbie to this whole swappin engine thing, i have a few questions...

I am in the middle of doing this swap right now, with a nice low mileage JDM engine for my '94 GS auto. The A/C comp bracket is different, but engine mounts appear to be the same. Just ordered an ECU from an online site for $125 and am looking for the harness now. Does anyone know where I can get one for a reasonable price? Nothing from the 1.8 wiring will plug in...[/align][/align]
can anyone make it more clear to me about the A/C comp bracket, cuz idk what that is.... if its not that hard or big of a deal let me know too...[/align][/align][/align]also......[/align]Correction, the rear motor mount bracket *is* different. On the 1.8, the mounting bosses for this bracket are offset, one is about 1/4" taller than the other. The 2.0L bosses are both equal in height.[/align]
so does that mean i need a dif mount? ive changed my front mount befor so i know what that is but is he saying the mount itself is dif and all i need to do is buy the mount for the 2.0L?

dont forget tranny bc its atleast my understanding that the 2.0 tranny does not bolt up to the 1.8[/align][/align]and finaly, do i need a new tranny, i was told a few things, i was told i dont need one and mine willjust bolt right on and hold upjust fine untill i start getting over 300hp, and here it says it dont bolt up. anyone know the answer to that?[/align][/align]if anyone has any answers please let me know, thanks alot guys....[/align][/align][/align][/align][/align]o yea, estraw, what you mean thats what you get for trying to help?[/align][/align]
