Microsoft Word
Ok, I have this little problem, i have this class that i am currently using microsoft word in, and i have this project almost finished, but the only problem is, its not turning out like i need it to.
i need the page number to start after the table of contents on the 3rd page. does anyone know how to do this?
i kno i'm an idiot, and if mysterio wasn't on p/a, (gimme a moment while i laugh) i'm sure he'd let me kno how i should do it myself and how i'm and idiot and what not. but w/e haha
any help?

You can resolve this problem in Microsoft Word. Go to the second page and in the header, where you inserted the page number, double click the page number. You'll get a toolbar that comes up. On this toolbar click "format page number" On there it says "Start At" and has a blank field. Insert number 1.
what you really have to do is this. I have perfected using stuff like this for class.
1) go to the end of the table of contents on that page.
2) then go to insert, break, and select section break, whatever the first one in section break is called.
3) that will put a blank page in between your TOC and your second page now go to the top of the second page (the one with text), and backspace it to clear the blank page.
4) go to the footer on the second page, and in the toolbar there is a option that is called "same as previous" disable that.
5) then insert your page number and format it to start at one.
I know this does seem retarded but its how word works.
