If you want to shift without using the clutch in power situations then go get straight cut gears. They will be noisy. I use to shift all the time without using the clutch except to start but in mild running applications. Just put gentle force on the shifter when trying it, but you can still chip a tooth in the gear if you try with too much force. If you are down shifting, as you begin to release on the gas pull it out of gear and thenlightly blip the gas when in neutral and gently slide the shifter into the next lower gear; when going up a gear gently push it into the next gear when you feel the synchros mesh after going through neutral from the last gear, and of all things do it at a moderate speed, not under force of trying to shift fast without a clutch, UNLESS YOU HAVE STRAIGHT CUT GEARS!!! Straight cut gears are a race only item; think Liberty transmissions. If you are in a pile of money and can afford to change trannies fairly often, shift away under heavy load without the clutch.

Yeah very true but rev match isnt exactly the easiest thing in the world, changing gears without a clutch at a moderate speed is no problem, if you geeently push the shifter to the gear it will eventually engage in its own, the problem is under speed situation, im still skeptcial about it though....

Stay skeptical and save your tranny. These little cars the trannies feel like they are going to break under hard shifting, I would be leary of doing it alot.
