yea, u might laugh at me for this question but the truth is i dont know the answer, and im not computer smart so idk how to research it very well and i figured its an ez one for you to answer quickly... i was readying another post and i always see ppl talking about sinthetic oil, and my buddy bought a talon with the 4g63 in it and was told to not use sinthetic... but in the post i just read it says sinthetic is the best. i dont run it.. so i guess my question is what is the diference and why should my buddy NOT run it, but some ppl should?

dont run it in a 2G maybe. it is the best but the 2G 4G63 has oiling problems from the factory and the oil pressure in those motors is low mainly when the clutch is press down.

I would tell you to just research crankwalk because I am sure that is why you shouldnt use it in a 7bolt 4G63.

the EVOs use sinthetic from the factory

he has an N/T so there is no need to run it anyway. what year is the 1G? some 1Gs did have the 7bolt 4G63 block but you said N/T so I am guessing it is a 92 or older anyway

synthetic has no additives tha typically go into other oil so it is a much cleaner oil and wont break down as fast.
