all it is it 1)take the subs outta the box, set it on top of a table or i used two saw horses, mix up a bunch of fiberglass resin (you don't actually use fiberglass hair/matting, unless there is a fold or rip in the cloth), then use a very cheap paintbrush and spread the resin over the entire frame/fleece. Let it dry overnight, then i'll show ya what to do tomorrow...

Seb, what are your questions?

yea i just used the resin (not on my bumper, that i did use the fiberhairs on). after it dries i'll DA (bodyshop sanding tool), get any odd lumps out of it, then cover it in a layer of bondo, sand that smooth, then i believe i'm gettin it covered in black leather to match the new seats... i dont feel like doin that much more work to paint it when i'm selling it, besides getting it wrapped will look better. I'm pretty sure i'm doing the same with the amp rack, just not sure yet

yea exactly... i mean, getting it straight enough to paint isnt a problem for me, it's just time consuming, and i dont feel like doing it for a car that i'm about to sell. But my rear seat is getting re-upholstered right now to match to two new front seats, so having the leather back there would just compliment it all that much more

[sm=groupwave.gif]yay! I've always said I was going to do this myself but someone that used to do it professionally (but was "too tired" to help me) told me i'd burn myself.. so i've been a big ol pansy. Was the painting the fiberglass resin on very difficult?? burn yourself any? lol.
p.s. i'm sad you're passing on your car i like it!! [8D]
